All through my childhood, I dreamed about, read about, and drew horses. Every time I saw horses, they made (and still make) my heart go pitter patter. Â I aspired to be a horse and dog trainer as long as I can remember. I finally got to ride horses as a teenager, thanks to my boyfriend who could drive us to the rental stables. It wasn’t until my 36th birthday that I got my first horse as a surprise from that same guy, now my husband. She was perfect, an old quarter horse cross that had been there and done that. It wasn’t until my second horse, an unconfident, green mare, that my husband and I had to find a better way to be with horses. We found and embraced Parelli. We now live and share Parelli. It is a way of life for us and all of my dreams have come true. Time to dream bigger dreams!
